About the college

Our History

Welcome to the Kamarbandha College. The College was established in 1986. It is situated at Dulakhoria, in the East of Golaghat District and the West of Jorhat district of Assam. It is an institute of higher education in the facilities of Social Science and Computer education and affiliated to the Dibrugarh University. It's like a dream comes true, when with the efforts of the founders, patrons, donors, faculties, students, guardians and management. The College was accorded provincialisation under the Assam Venture Educational Institutions (Provincialisation of Services) Act 2011. It stands on a land, amidst the greenery of tea gardens and a natural environment conducive for education, sports and interactions among people of various fields. The college is promoting a tradition of exellence in teaching and learning. It has successfully produced more than 794 graduates so far and they are well off. It has a safe and secure atmosphere and strict disciplinary measures againsts offences like ragging etc.
