NCC

Objectives of the unit

• The NCC aims at developing character, leadership, discipline, a secular outlook, the spirit of adventure and ideas of selfless services amongst students. NCC also motivates students to join armed forces. Our college NCC Boy’s is organized with these aims.
• Boy’s NCC of our college is organized under 12 Assam (I) coy NCC in 2019. Since them three batches are enrolled with a capacity of 50 cadets. First batch already cleared “B” certificate examination.

Activities

• October 2019 first batch of NCC Boy’s selected and registered.
• 10 cadet participate in CATC 13 December-18 December, 2020 one cadet (Arif Ahmed) won silver in shooting competion.
• March, 2020, data were sent to office for volunteer work for covid-19.
• April 2020, participated in online Dikha app registration.
• 15 June 2020, Refreshment distributed in college.
• Participated online oricntation training programe of ANO.
• Swach Bharat Abhiyan in college campus in 19 December 2021.
• A physical fitness training camp was organised in our college withsports cells and Girls NCC. From 29.12.2020 to 04.01.2021.
• 20 January 2021, participated in parade and cadet co-operated with college week.
• 4 February 2021 rank distributed in our college by self (not from the office) and after that observed SSCD Activity plan.
• February, 2021 “B” certificate examination cadets participated in 3 days cadre in NCC office.
• 14 March 2021, 19 cadets of 1st batch appeared in “B” certificate examination and all are passed. 
• March 2021 2nd batch of NCC cadet were registered.
• 10 volunteers works for vaccination in tea garden area.
• 5 June 2021 world environment day observed.
• 1 cadet participated in EBSB (Kironjyoti Saikia)
• 1 cadet participated in Kargil Bijoy Diwas webiner in July 26, 2021. (Bhaskar Saikia)
• 1 cadet participated in Online Sainik Sanmelan in July 29, 2021. (Arif Ahmed)
• 11 to 15 August 2021, cadets participated in Rastragaan, An initiative by the ministry of culture to mark Ajadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav.
• Registered in fit India Run
• On the occaison of 75th Independence Day 2021, our cadet planted tree in their own campus.
• 16 November-25 November 2021, cadets participated in CATC-40.
• November 2021 3rd Batch of NCC Boys registered.
• 2022, Cadets participated in opening parade of college week.
