The Women Cell of Kamarbandha College was formed in the year 01/03/2013 with an aim to recognize and uphold contribution of women in society. The Cell was formed with 12 members, including the President and the Secretary.
Objectives of the cell :-
To empower and uphold the dignity of women at work.
To maintain a dignified, safe, congenial working and learning environment for girls and women employers.
To promote gender equality, building a gender sensitive campus, free from gender discrimination and sexual harassment.
To organize seminar, workshop, awareness programmes and extension activities relating to women’s development.
